Spring 2024 Program Offerings
For the Spring 2024 season, Turnpike Basketball is offering:
- League Play for age groups with at least 20 players.
- Pickup Basketball games played at least weekly for age groups with at least 8-10 players.
- Clinics for interested age groups of any size.
LEAGUE PLAY
For Spring 2024, Turnpike will offer a High School Boys League, as well as leagues for other interested age groups.
When
- April to June (but High School leagues will end by Graduation Day).
- Games will be on weeknights only.
- No practices.
Where
- Mainly Woodson HS on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
- Games may also be played on other weeknights at Camelot ES or Mantua ES.
Player Evaluations & Draft
- All players must be evaluated before participating in games.
- Players who participated with Turnpike in Winter 2023-24 do not need to attend an evaluation session.
- Leagues will have their player drafts in late March / early April.
Regular Season
- High School Boys league teams will play 6-8 regular season games from early April to late May.
- If formed, other leagues will play weekly games from early April into June.
Playoffs
- Held in late May / early June for all leagues.
Pickup Basketball
Pickup basketball games are offered to K-12 age groups with approximately 10-20 players.
When
- Weekly games from April to June. No practices or playoffs.
- Weeknights only.
Where
- Woodson HS, Camelot ES, Canterbury Woods ES or Mantua ES.
Player Evaluations
- None.
Clinics
Weekly clinics will be offered to Middle School boys and other interested age groups.
When
- April to June.
